Diamond is the birth stone of April and the lucky stone those who are born in this month. In the gems world diamond, with regard to its value and distinction is called the “King of Gems”. Being the hardest one in the minerals having hardness of 10, and one sided rays emitting i.e single reflector stone, it is precious among all the other common gems.
 Anyhow a spotless ruby by virtue of its transparency and larger than 5 carat is considered more precious than other diamonds but acquisition of such clean and transparent ruby is a very difficult task.
Diamond indicates courage and the assure of wealth to the faithful and act as a gemstone treatment . Diamond removes fear for those who are afraid of some evil signs or dark. Diamond has the strength of giving health to the sufferers rather improves their health considerably. People might think it as a fairy tale as very little has been researched scientifically or published to prove that it can do wonders or miracles. But majority of mythologists have agreed that not only diamond but all gemstones have capability to interact with human body and they are considered to be an alternative to medicines.
Nowadays, many spouses have rift with each other especially for those who are newly-married couples due to lack of understanding or different mindset, diamond as it brings faithfulness to its wearer,removes incompatibility among themselves.
Parents are very much concerned about their children in gaining high ranks in the field of education, diamond increases intelligence not only in children but also in those who wants to be more intelligent in any field.
Often people complain tiredness during working , study or chores , the wearer of diamond could avoid tiredness. Women could regain their loss of energy through the wearing of diamond especially for those who have tough domestic activities. Also diamond is greatly help in curing many women related diseases.
In recent years, due to global changes , be it political or environmental, everyone has some sort of tension regarding their future or global security. Although it is hard to avoid these nasty changes but the wearer of diamond could lessen the tension to some extent , making diamond alternative to medicines. Moreover, diamond brings prosperity and happiness in the life of the diamond wearer.
Today 9% of diamonds is raw shape are exported from only five countries which includes Botswana, Libya, South Africa, Angola, Russia, Zaire and Australia but South Africa is major supplier among all these countries. Likewise there are a lot of countries where the raw diamonds are being carved and polished but New York, Antwerp and Mumbai are the main centers of it.
Before the diamonds becomes the wanton part of a laday, it atleast passes through four continents and hundreds of perfect skillful and experienced artisans after which fiery elegance of diamond becomes luminous. The factors making the diamond precious are of its carat, cut, clarity and color which usually called ‘Four Cs’ in the gems world.
The trade of diamond is said to be carrying out since 300 B.C. According to the mythology of Greeks the diamonds are the pieces of stars fallen on earth, whereas majority of their orthodox believe that the diamonds are the tears of their Demi-Gods but according to the scientist’s chemical analysis diamond is a form of carbon which due to severe pressure of the earth converts from coal and takes the shape of mineral called diamond.
